We exclusively use vegetable-tanned bovine leather, an ancestral process that employs natural tannins extracted from plants such as oak and chestnut. This method uses no synthetic chemicals and offers significant benefits in terms of environmental impact, durability, and aesthetics, developing a unique patina with use.


80–90% of global leather production is chrome-tanned, a faster, cheaper, and highly polluting process that results in a somewhat artificial-looking material that does not withstand the test of time and eventually stiffens and cracks.
